Sunset story time

My favorite guy at my favorite time of day.

Lunch time fun

Today we had lunch with Aunt Bunni. So fun!

Heading to the fountain for some water fun.

Dylan making friends.

Dylan is definitely a water baby!

“I wanna go over there!”

Passed out from the fun.

How much is that doggy in the window?

Staying over at Aunt Kelley’s is fun but I’m a little nervous that Dylan is getting too attached to the whole pet idea. She definitely has a love of dogs. Oh boy….I never thought I’d own a dog but this girl is crazy about them! I guess we’ll wait and see!

Laying in Chip’s dog bed.

Dylan’s idea of cuddling with Chip.

Kisses from her BFF.

“What???? You don’t love me Jenny?”

Feliz dia mama

Happy Mother’s Day. We had a beautiful day with some beautiful moms. Thanks to all of you moms who put your family first. Today is a day to celebrate your selflessness. Frankly I think we need a few more of these days each year but I’ll take what I can get!

I am one lucky mama!

Love my Grams!

I love my Mama!

Beautiful ladies!

Aunt Penny, Grandma, Meagan, and Reese (oh and Bruiser!).

I love these of Meagan and her little munchkin!

Dylan and Reese…assessing the situation.

Still not sure…

Dylan goes in for the cuddle!

The Hula Girl Returns

Dylan woke up today and pointed and screamed at the Hula Girl outfit until I put it on her.

As you can tell she’s not quite as happy as she was when she wore it yesterday. I think she may be a little obsessed!

Hula Girl

Our babysitter Kelly went to Hawaii and brought back some gifts,

I think Dylan likes her gift…she wore it for hours!

Dancing…

Dancing and texting????

Dylan, the girlie-girl. playing with Kelly’s makeup. Uh Oh!!!
Checking herself out.

Happy 16 months Pickle

Today Dylan is 16 months old. WOW! She is getting to be such a big girl with such a big personality. Some of the things she’s been up to…

-She gives LOTS of hugs to everyone but most go to her big brother.

-She points and squeals when she wants something.

-She says momma and dadda for everything.

-She love animals.

-She finally likes her dolls and hugs them and pats their back.

-She loves to play her flutes in the bath tub.

-She eats everything but especially loves her brocolli. YAY!

-She’s  terrified of the trash truck.

-She climbs on top of everything. Especially the kitchen table.

-She loves to play in mommy’s makeup and purse.

-She sucks her thumb when she’s tired.

-She loves to play in the kitchen and open and close all of the cabinets.

-She loves to pull her clothes out of the dresser drawers.

-She loves her toothbrush, even if she doesn’t even have one tooth yet!

-She loves every toy that Luke picks up first and she makes it known that she wants it.

-She throws herself to the ground when she has a tantrum.

-She has a feisty personality yet is surprising quiet.

-She sings in a sweet little baby voice while she plays.

-She tries to do the itsy bitsy spider move when I sing it to her.

Such a happy girl.

I look gooooood!

Riding this horse is very serious business.

Awwww. She loves her brother!

I couldn’t take a million pics of Dylan and not get a few of Lukey!

Sweet babies…now if they would just go to sleep!

Farm Frenzy

We headed out to Underwood Farms with the cousins yesterday to keep with the animal themed play time we’ve been having. It is such a great place for the kids to see animals and to run like mad. You can also pick your own produce or if you are lazy like us,  you can just buy it at their little stand. We had so much fun and the kids were VERY tired afterwards. Isn’t that the reason mom’s take their kids places? Tire them out so we can sit and chat? Love it!

The wagons were a big hit!

Goats walked above our heads on wooden planks. CRAZY.

Here’s Sammy sending food up in a bucket to the little guy.

There were cars, trains, and tractors all over the place.

Sammy on the HUGE tractor slide.

There was even a little play area for the wee little ones.

We can’t forget the animals. I’m not talking about the kids, I mean the calmer more sedate kind of animals….

Even the huge hay stack got some love.

Dylan had no fear!

Cute Foster fam photo.

Time to jump.

“Can we stay here forever mom?”

Tired and ready to go home.

Honey Bunny

I took the kids to the petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano and boy is Dylan a crazy animal lover! She had absolutely no fear of the animals and went crazy trying to feed them. She kept shoving carrots in the bunny’s ears, nose, and the top of their heads. It took her awhile to understand you put them close to their mouths and then they can actually eat it! Luke loved the guinea pigs and was brave enough to hold one. Such a fun outing and hopefully it will satisfy Luke’s need for a new pet!

Learning how to feed the bunny from her big brother.

Hmmm….not quite. Not on his head.

Closer….not in his eye.

Almost there….not in his nose.

I guess that’s close enough!

“Hmmm…which guy looks hungry?”

“Mom, he likes me!”

Train time!

Top of the morn to you

Some sibling love in the morning!
